Privacy and Personal Data Protection

This notice explains what personal data we process through skay-net.com, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. It is written to meet Article 10 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where it applies to you, the GDPR.
There is no membership on this site
You cannot register, open an account or build a profile. We store no passwords. We run no third-party advertising or behavioural tracking. You give us data only when you write to us yourself.
Data controller
Skay-Net Technologies. For any request: info@skay-net.com
We fall below the registration thresholds, so we hold no VERBİS entry.
What we process
- Contact form: name, email, company if given, and the message you write.
- Email: the address and content you send when you write to us.
- Sarah (AI assistant): the text you type into the chat.
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser details. Kept automatically for security and fault tracing.
- Strictly necessary cookie: only to remember the language you chose. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Purposes
- Answering your enquiry.
- Running demonstrations and pre-sales conversations.
- Keeping the site secure and detecting abuse and faults.
- Meeting our legal obligations.
Legal basis
- When you submit the form or write to us: KVKK Art. 5/2-c — directly related to the formation or performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Server logs and security: KVKK Art. 5/2-f — legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Statutory retention duties: KVKK Art. 5/2-a and 5/2-ç (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).

At the end of the period the records are deleted or anonymised.
Transfers outside Türkiye
Our site and email infrastructure are hosted on a server outside Türkiye. In addition, text you type into Sarah is processed through an artificial intelligence service provider located outside Türkiye. These transfers fall under KVKK Art. 9. Beyond this we do not sell, rent or share your data with any third party for marketing.
Sarah — the AI assistant
Sarah is an artificial intelligence model. It is not a person and what it says can be wrong. Chat content is processed through an artificial intelligence service provider located outside Türkiye. Do not type personal or sensitive information (identity numbers, health data, financial details, passwords) into the chat. If you need something binding, write to info@skay-net.com.
Cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie: the record of your chosen interface language. No analytics, advertising or social media cookies. That is why you see no consent banner — we run nothing that requires consent.
Your rights
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed.
- To request information about that processing.
- To learn the purpose and whether the data is used accordingly.
- To know the third parties, at home or abroad, the data is transferred to.
- To have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected.
- To have the data erased or destroyed where the conditions are met.
- To have any correction or erasure notified to those third parties.
- To object where an automated analysis produces a result against you.
- To claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Making a request
Write to info@skay-net.com with enough detail for us to identify you. We answer within 30 days, free of charge. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.
